COUNCIL #6451 NEWS & CALENDAR

Hello and welcome to the Saint Aloysius
Knights of Columbus website!

Bryan Clark-Grand Knight
My name is Bryan Clark. I am the current Grand Knight of our council, which has served the Saint Aloysius Catholic Parish and surrounding community for over 45 years.

The Knights of Columbus is the world's largest Catholic family fraternal service organization with almost 2 million members. It provides members and their families the opportunity for many benefits associated with the Knight's top-ranked life insurance program and volunteer opportunities in service to the Catholic Church, their communities, families and youth.

We meet monthly to plan fraternal and service projects on the second Monday of each month at 7:00 in the Activity Center located on the Saint Aloysius campus facing 9th Avenue. Our meetings start with business and finish with a well-attended social.

For more information about the Knights, please click on the link below. We'd love to have you join us!

A Message from Fr. Larry LoMonaco, Council Chaplain
Fr. Larry
Jesus does not care who you are. He loves each of us equally and he is genuinely concerned about our health and spiritual welfare.
Jesus demonstrated that to live our life truly in the image of God means to have faith and to put that faith into action by reaching out to those in need.
Our Christian calling impels us to do likewise.

Since 1973 our council has participated in the LAMB fund raising efforts; beyond Tootsie Roll Donations.

The 2021 LAMB program for council 6451 was extremely challenging.  We did exceed our goal for the year with some luck and a great offering after masses in November.

Donations were made to 8 organization that help people with intellectual disabilities.  Checks are being distributed as follows:
-Catawba County Special Olympics
-Conover School - Helping children and young adults
